The NZWPW tour kicks off this weekend at Maungaraki (Friday) and Wainuiomata (Saturday) with wrestlers from both NZWPW and IPW in attendance.....WPW Chairman (Martin Stirling) has chosen Maungaraki as the starting point for the tour and promises that it could be the beginning of many tours to come.
The slightly deranged James Shaw wants to put an end to Ben Mana this weekend and has told WPW that he will do what ever it takes to defeat the Maori Warrior, but before he gets a shot at Mana he must first go through the young lions of WPW; namely Mikey Rave and Kidd Mystique in a Triple threat match, especially now that James Shaw has become the newest member of Project Mayhem.
Fresh back from their American and Canadian tour "The One Vinny Dunn and Jon E King" have requested another shot at the WPW roster which the CWO (Rehua) has agreed to, therefore; Vinny Dunn will put against Corey Dallas and Jon E King will have to battle it out with WPW's own man mountain "Tykade"
It may also be the final chance that Travis Banks will get at Rufguts and the WPW Title.
"Travis has had plenty of opportunities to defeat Rufguts" Says the CWO Rehua "So if he can't get it done this weekend, then he's not getting another one! so Travis better win, however; if Travis was to lose....... it may not be the end for him........ as I may have use for Travis somewhere else?"
Card so far: Maungaraki
- Mikey Rave vs James Shaw vs Kidd Mystique
- Tykade vs Jon E King
- Corey Dallas vs Vinny Dunn
- Rufguts vs Travis Banks
Card so far: Wainuiomata
- Osiris vs D-Hoya
- Nick Silver vs Jacob Cross
- Ben Mana vs James Shaw (Best out of three falls)
- J.C Star vs Johnny Idol
Full cards to be released soon.

With "Powerplay" looming just around the corner; New Zealand Wide Pro Wrestling chairman (Martin Stirling) has decided that this years "Right 2 Challenge" will not take place away from Wellington as it has done so in the past, but instead; it will be held this Friday at "Bringing Down The House".
"The Right 2 Challenge" has always been considered controversial as it not only gives the winner the opportunity for a title shot, but it also gives them the power to select the show at which it happens. D-Hoya, Mikey Rave, Shining Nick Silver and J.C Star have all been selected to compete in the match; one of which will go on to face Rufguts at a show of their choosing.
Rufguts will have to have his wits about him on Friday as not only does he have to worry about the winner of "Right 2 Challenge" but the CWO (Rehua) has decided that he needs to shape up for Powerplay, and has placed Rufguts in a match against IPW hotshot Liam Fury. Fury has been making a huge impact within IPW and is now planning on making an impact with WPW this Friday too.
James Shaw will have another shot against Ben Mana this Friday. Shaw has been wanting a rematch against Mana after his loss to the Maori warrior in Bulls last month.

Bringing Down The House (Sudden Impact)
There are rumours circulating in the locker room that wrestlers from Impact Pro-Wrestling are preparing to invade NZWPW's next House show at "He Toa sports" on Friday 20th May 2011.
"It is unusual that the IPW wrestlers would venture south to compete at what is considered to be an NZWPW only show" quotes the C.W.O of NZWPW (Rehua)
"I think it may have something to do with the fact that there is a training camp that weekend, and that they want to add a little IPW flare to the proceedings" he exclaims,
"Therefore; if they want to show WPW what they plan on bringing, then they had better be prepared to have it shown back" laughs Rehua.
New Zealand Wide Pro Wrestling will release the names of whom will be making an appearance at the show and at the training camp later on in the week.
Stay tuned for more details....

THE STORM IS OVER
Shining Nick Silver and Sammy V have returned to New Zealand after training at "Lance Storms Wrestling Academy" and now they give us their final thoughts on the experience:
Shining Nick Silver:
After being away for too long, I (The Shining One) your hero, "Nick Silver" have returned to this land of my birth. Canada, the great frozen north held many things for me. The bear, the wolf, the eagle. But I went there for one thing, Lance Storm; One of Canada's greatest professional wrestlers who agreed to allow me to step into his ring and train in the art of professional wrestling; and now I return to you, ready to take to the ring once again, facing the best New Zealand can offer.
Sammy V:
So Sammy V is back to my home New Zealand now. 3 months away in a foreign country was tough i'll admit. The food was weird, people couldn't understand my 'accent' and I got lost a few times in this city that was -30 degrees. But now i'm back and i'm ready to fight. I'm bigger, faster, stronger and so much more wiser from my training at Storm Wrestling Academy. I feel like a veteran and i've only been doing this a year. It's so good to be back home and now I can start Sammy V's very own legacy. I'm coming for titles and I'll fight anyone I'm put up against. Even if its my training buddy in Calgary 'Shining' Nick Silver. It's domination time!
