J.C Star vs. D-Hoya

NZWPW.CO.NZ brings you a look at how JC-Star and D-Hoya match up, heading into Powerplay 7
This match sparked up at “Te Ra o te Raukura” earlier this year, after a hard day of wrestling the #1 contender ship for the NZWPW heavyweight title was on the line, a 15  man Battle Royal was put in place, Which J.C Star won in impressive style after eliminating Dreamcatcher at the end crowing J.C the Number one Contender.

Following the “Te Ra o te Raukura” show NZWPW brought you “Bringing Down The House” with J.C no where to be seen, we saw a great match between Rufguts and D-Hoya, Rufguts gave his all in a match which would have seen him catapulted into the main event at Power Play, it was not to happen though as we saw D-Hoya picking up the win and breaking Rufguts unbeaten streak at Bringing Down The House, Therefore the Main event for Powerplay was Locked in.

Building up to Powerplay  D-Hoya and his Opponent at Powerplay J.C Star have been working as a great unit as of late, firstly at “Heretuanga Hellfire” where we saw J.C and Hoya go up against Rufguts and Jimmy Sparx, with $1000 on the line to give to the “Ray Barret whanu trust” in this match we saw Rufguts and Jimmy work well together besides having one of the biggest and baddest Hardcore matches NZWPW has even seen at last years “Pro Wrestling Explosion”, we saw Jimmy and Rufguts winning this match with the referee knocked down Rufguts and Jimmy used a trash bag assisted Circuit Breaker to pick up the pin-fall.

At NZWPW “Proving Grounds” we saw a repeat of the Main Event at “Heretuanga Hellfire” but with a different outcome in this match we it was J.C star who finally took it out with a huge 5 Star Moonsault after D-Hoya hit The Eclipse on Jimmy Sparx.

With Hoya and J.C working so well together this is going to be a match for the ages when J.C Star takes on his friend D-Hoya at Powerplay, Rumors are spreading that J.C Star has returned to Taranaki, making sure his body is in perfect condition and his will is at its maximum potential to walk away from Powerplay with his first New Zealand Title, meanwhile D-Hoya is still training hard with the sole purpose of retaining his title at the Biggest stage of them all “POWERPLAY”

Also at Powerplay we will see former “WWE” superstar “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters in action, check back on the website for more details of that situation.
