NZWPW are on the way to the wonderful Gisborne this week, in a quest to give the “Ray Barret” whanu trust a hefty donation. With some awesome action in store for all the great wrestling fans in Gisborne, here is what’s in store:
The great School yard tussle returns as Little Joker takes on his arch rival Zodiak which should be a great match between these two young New Zealand Wrestlers. This match may set a bench mark for the up and coming young wrestlers that currently train at He Toa Combat Zone.
NZWPW.CO.NZ Pick to win: We haven't seen much of Little Joker this year with his sole appearance being with NZWPW rookie G.I Jay, so I'll have to look at Zodiak to take this out he has alot to prove after his last matches with Kamystery.
The fairer sex will be represented when 2 of the best Women wrestlers in NZWPW step into the ring as Misty takes on Matatraki to see who the better Woman in NZWPW is, Misty has recently been ripping shreds of her opponent "I am far better than Matariki, and deserve recognition as the best female wrestler in New Zealand today.
NZWPW.CO.NZ Pick to win: Misty is more than over confident going into this match should the veteran Matatraki capitalise on Misty's current attitude she should be able to take this one out.
Fresh out of back to back wins against The Nerd, Travis Banks will be in action as this great new comer looks to prove himself against the cunning skill of NZWPW veteran, Shining Nick Silver. Travis banks is in position to take out rookie of the year and being that this year is less than half over he will be out to cement his position in the card for the future. Nick has also shown his desire to be respected and deserving of what he thinks is his position has recently had some great matches against Adam Avalance, Tykade and Ben Mana this match has the potential to tear the house down.
NZWPW.CO.NZ Picks: Travis has been on a roll lately but the has he really got what it takes, there is a huge difference between The Nerd and Shining Nick SIlver we can see the veteran taking this one out.
With his recent absence Axl takes on one of NZWPW’s biggest men, “The ex Trash-man” Rufguts. With the situation between Adam Avalanche and Axl brewing, Axl asked for a warm up match to get him back in ring shape before he faces Adam. It has been reported to us that Axl is disgusted with his opponent and calls Rufguts a warm up to the main event. Rufguts does not take kindly to insult however and has told NZWPW.CO.NZ that Axl will find himself in a world of hurt with both men firing this one has all out brawl written all over it.
NZWPW.CO.NZ Picks: Axl has the height Rufguts has the weight, this one is too close to call.
Also right off the press of NZWPW.CO.NZ
With the recent rules imposed on the Unofficial Tag Team Titles CD has made it his mission to take the titles away from The Circus of Tragedy earlier today he contacted us with the following statement.
"Gisborne, Circus of Tragedy may use some rule to retain the title but I will be teaming with an old friend to ensure that one way or another the Circus will lose those titles."
The Circus is going into Gisborne with the same confident streak they have been accostumed to with The Unofficial Rule Book on thier side who wouldn't.
Also set to make appearances at both Gisborne and Te Araroa are Tykade, Ben Mana, and Adam Avalanche.
So with this great action packed line up we here at NZWPW hope to see you there.
