Card Annouced for Power Play 6

The card for NZWPW Power Play 6 has been released, with Chris Masters taking on two of NZWPW's biggest wrestlers, Adam Avalanche and Rufguts, in a triple threat main event!
Masters will have his hands full with the mass of humanity in the ring, and the match could easily go to anyone. Will Avalanche or Rufguts be able to claim the biggest win of their careers against an international superstar like Masters, or will "The Masterpiece" find a way to add another high-profile win to his record?
In perhaps the most anticipated match of the night, D-Hoya defends the NZWPW Championship against JC Star, who became the #1 contender to the belt at the start of 2009. Since their match was announced, Hoya and Star have wrestled twice as a tag team, working together to defeat JImmy Sparx & Rufguts in their most recent outing. What will happen when these two find themselves on opposite sides of the ring at Power Play 6, April 23?
Also at Power Play 6, the NZWPW Tag Team Championship, official once more, will be defended as the newly recognised champs, The Circus of Tragedy's "Dream Catcher" Phil Woodgate & O'Siris, put the belts on the line against the dominant pairing of Ben Mana & Tykade. Mana & Tykade stormed through CD & Jimmy Sparx at Te Araroa to be declared the #1 contenders to the titles. How will they cope against The Circus of Tragedy and their underhanded tactics?
Plus, Luke Whanga of New Zealand Idol and Smokefree Stage Challenge fame will be in attendance as the Power Play 6 special guest ring announcer!
Power Play 6 takes place a week from today on Thursday, April 23 at Walter Nash Stadium in Taita. Tickets are available on the door but also from Lazer Force on Courtney Place, Wellington or Sports Den on Queens Drive, Lower Hutt. Fans can also purchase tickets online.
