WPW WRESTLING ACADEMY
New Zealand Wide Pro Wrestling is proud to announce the opening of New Zealand's first ever fulltime pro-wrestling training academy. Unlike other wrestling schools in New Zealand where training can only be practised on a part time basis; the WPW Wrestling Academy will run as a three month intensive course.
Its targeted at (But not exclusive to) beginner to intermediate, and will run Monday to Friday, 10.00 am - 2.00pm everyday, there are also Tuesday and Thursday night trainings, and Saturday afternoon workouts.
All participants of the new wrestling academy will also actively participate in wrestling shows, tours and events, as an added bonus; not only will potential candidates be trained by some of WPW's best but we are in discussions of the possibility of guest mentors from Australasia, ROH, TNA and possibly the WWE.
Upon completion of training, participants who believe they have the entrepreneurial drive, may even be offered a franchise package to aid them in their journey.
Martin Stirling believes that it will spark a new era in New Zealand professional wrestling and will not only lift the profile of New Zealand wrestling to the world, but will also give everyone a chance to live their dream.
This week the full details of the course will be published on the WPW website.

NZWPW is on the road again and this time it is to the town of Marton, a stirling little town just before Bulls.
Right off the heels of a brutle Flag Vs Flag match there is no respite for Jakob Cross who will be this time defending the honour as the local hometown hero against cross town rival from Bulls Travis Banks. This is sure to be an explosive match as not only is there the cross town rilvarly but also it is Travis Banks first return to NZWPW being released and signing with their Auckland affiliate IPW. How will the home coming go down?
NZWPW Heavyweight Champion D-Hoya is headed for a collision course with former champion Rufguts Roddy Gunn, but in the mean time he has been fighting his way through the rest of Project Mayhem defeating Johnny Idol at Bringing Down the House, he is now up against the always unpredictable James Shaw.
Talking about the former Champion and Project Mayhem leader since losing the title at Powerplay he has been bullying his way through opposition and getting his nose involved in D-Hoyas business to show every chance he can, to show that he wants that title back. But before that there is one other man who has his eyes set on revenge with Project and that is the Man Mountain Tykade, two of the biggest men in NZWPW are set for a goliath battle.
Also on the card
Liam Fury Vs Johnny Idol
JC Star Vs Axl
Mikey Rave/Taylor Adams Vs Fred the Great/Shining Nick Silver
JPE Vs Misty

WPW Rock The Valley and Porirua

New Zealand Wide Pro Wrestling ends their Regional tour in Stokes Valley and Porirua this weekend.
The NZWPW giant (Tykade) will be battling it out in his home town of "Stokes Valley" this Friday against the British brute known as "Jacob Cross".
"I don't care that he is a former champion" says Cross "All it means is that he can be beaten, because he's not just facing me; he's facing the British empire"
Although Tykade has never faced Cross before, he has sworn that he will bring home the victory in Stokes valley. Corey Dallas will also be in action this Friday against his former comrade "Rufguts Roddy Gun". Guts ejected Dallas from Project Mayhem last week and now Dallas is ready to settle the score.
This Saturday; Porirua will see a clash of two of WPW's top wrestlers "D-Hoya & JC Star". Hoya won a number one contendership at this years "Over The Top" earning a match against "Rufguts Roddy Gun" at Powerplay, and now that JC Star has cashed in his Right 2 Challenge win and injected himself into the title match, Hoya and JC have now been put at odds, therefore; the C.W.O Rehua has decided that the WPW Tag titles will not be contended for in Porirua as previously mentioned, but instead the titles will be battled for at a later show of his choosing.
