Levin, August 2011 - Project Mayhems Johnny Idol & Rufguts Roddy Gunn defeat D-Hoya & JC Star, The Lost Boys and The Circus of Tragedy in a four-corners elimination match for the vacant Tag Team titles. Over The Top, March 2011 - Project Mayhems Johnny Idol and Corey Dallas defeat Five Star Revolution. They are later stripped of the titles due to outside interference. Bringing Down the House 24th September 2010 - The 5 Star Revolution defeated the Party Seekers via submission to retain their titles Tour of the Titans 14th August 2010 - The 5 Star Revolution defeated Saint Chaos via submission to retain the titles Takedown 19th March 2010 - Travis Banks and JC Star defeat Corey Dallas and Ben Mana via pinfall to retain the titles. Over The Top 6th March 2010 - Travis Banks and JC Star defeat Dreamcatcher and Osiris vis Pinfall to retain the titles. Te Ra O Te Raukura 7th February 2010 - Travis Banks and JC Star defeat Chad Howard and Teh Nerd via submission to retain the titles Movember November 27th 2009 - Travis Banks and JC Star defeat Osiris and Dream Catcher to retain the titles in a 2 out of 3 falls match. The Bay Bash October 30th 2009 - Travis Banks and JC Star out last 2 other teams to become New Zealand Tag Team Champions after Travis forces Ben Mana to submit to the Lion Clutch. Bringing Down the House July 24th 2009 - Adam Avalanche shocked the Combat Zone by announcing that his mystery partner was in fact Ben Mana! Mana turned his back on his partner Tykade, aligning himself with Avalanche and scoring his new team the tag team gold! Power Play 6 April 23rd, 2009 - Circus of Tragedy's reign as official tag team champions is short lived as Tykade and Ben Mana walked out of Power Play 6 with the belts firmly around their waists making them the fifth and current team to hold the Tag Team Titles. Te Araroa April 9th 2009 - Due to public demand the C.W.O reinstates the titles to make future title matches fair. "Thus" The Circus of Tragedy are made the official Tag Team Champions and become the forth team to hold the Tag Team Titles. Proving Grounds March 28th 2009 - Osiris and Dreamcatcher beat Kamystery in a 2-on-1 handicap match to retain the titles at Proving Grounds. Heretaunga Hellfire March 6th 2009 - Dan Stirling and CD defeat Dreamcatcher and Osiris to claim the unofficial Tag Team Titles, they are then immediately stripped due to rule 4, of the Unofficial Tag Team Championship Rule Book which states "Any one directly related to Martin Stirling through Blood or otherwise may not hold the Unofficial Tag Team Championship." February 25th - 1 Week before Heretaunga Hellfire - After stealing the titles at Bringing down the house Dreamcatcher announces The Circus of Tragedy as the Unofficial Tag Team Champions. Bringing Down The House 13th February 2009 - After 3 competitors fail to show up to fight for the NZWPW Tag team titles the CWO Vacates the titles and removes them from competition. The Big One 14th November 2008 - Adam Avalanche pins Hoakxz to defeat the team of Hoakxz and Hazardis and retain the titles at The Big One. Invasion Tour 16th August 2008 - Adam Avalanche pins Dangerous Dan "the Man" Stirling when Rehua abandons him at ring-side thus losing the Titles to The Infinite Avalanche for the second time at Invasion Wainuiomata. Power Play 5 31st may 2008 - Dangerous Dan "The Man" Stirling pins Infinity to defeat The Infinite Avalanche and claim the titles a second time for Company T at Power Play 5. Explosion 18th April 2008 - Adam Avalanche pins Dan "The Man" Stirling via (No DQ rule for current champions) and retain the titles at NZWPW/AWF Explosion. Pro Wrestling Summit 23rd February 2008 - Adam Avalanche pins Rehua after to defeat Company T and claim the titles for Infinite Avalanche at AWF Pro Wrestling Summit in Auckland making them the third tag team to hold the NZWPW Tag Titles. Pro Wrestling Summit 22nd February 2008 - Dangerous Dan "The Man" Stirling pins Axl to defeat Adam Avalanche and Axl to retain the titles at AWF Pro Wrestling Summit in Wellington. Summerbash Friday 16th February 2008 - Masky and Osiris defeat Company T via DQ due to Infinite Avalanche storming the ring, as the DQ rules apply Company T retain the titles at Summerbash. Ringside in the Rua Friday 6th October 2007 - Adam Avalanche pins Dangerous Dan "The Man" Stirling to defeat Company T and win the titles at Ringside in the Rua, (Tank stood in for "Rehua" as he was unavailable) the decision is over turned later during the night, due to DQ and Company T retained. Colossus Saturday 22nd September 2007 - Dangerous Dan "The Man" Stirling pins Disturbed to retain the titles at Colossus. Meltdown 3 Friday 17th August 2007 - Company T defeat High Octane via Countout to retain the titles at Meltdown 3. The Big One Friday 28th June 2007 - Dangerous Dan "The Man" Stirling and Rehua defeat Rufguts and Sandstorm via simultaneous tap out to retain the titles at The Big One. Bringing Down the House Friday11th May 2007 - Dangerous Dan "The Man" Stirling defeats Belthazar to prevent The Superlatives from winning the titles at Bringing Down the House. Kukubash Saturday 28th April 2007 - Dangerous Dan "The Man" Stirling pins Shining Nick SIlver to defeat The Superlatives and Company T become the second team to win the Official NZWPW Tag Team Titles. Power Play 4 Saturday April 14th 2007 - Shining Nick Silver pins CD to defeat The Team of CD and Dream Catcher and The Superlatives become the first Official NZWPW Tag Team Champions. |
